Soane Britain will be opening its first West Coast space in the San Francisco Design Center in early May. The 500-square-foot studio will bring the company’s products to a wider audience of interior designers and clients. This is the company's first U.S. showroom; its only other showroom is located in London.

Soane Britain works exclusively with British master craftsmen who excel at traditional crafts such as iron forging, rattan weaving, precision engineering, upholstery and saddlery across 40 specialists workshops around Great Britain. It is known for bringing together contemporary, antique and 20th century designs, and also offering capacity to customize every aspect of a piece.

“Our existing clients have been keen to see our designs in person so we’re proud that we’ll be able to showcase British craft talent,” said Lulu Lytle, founder and creative director of Soane Britain. “By having a presence here, we can do just that as well as collaborate more closely with designers new to Soane Britain. It is incredibly exciting.”

Furnishings displayed in the showroom will include the Simplified Crillon Chair, the Quiver Klismos Chair, the Stag Centre Table, the Nureyev Trolley and the Large Ripple Console. Lighting samples will include the Weymouth Floor Light, the Daisy Hanging Light and the Avon Wall Light, among others. The entire fabric and wallpaper collection will also be displayed, including new designs Dianthus Chintz and Botanic Garden.
