Santa Fe, NM

The full-service interior design firm Violante & Rochford's recently opened shop and showroom in a historic 1915 Arts and Crafts home showcases an eclectic array of decor, accessories, artwork and gifts culled from designers Michael Violante and Paul Rochford’s trips around the world. The showroom is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (located at 405 Paseo De Peralta, Santa Fe, New Mexico).

NYC Metro

Brooklyn-based design build and furniture firm Uhuru Design opened its first retail showroom in Tribeca last month. The showroom's theme is "Subversive Nature," where wood, steel and stone are manipulated as alternative materials, and it showcases pieces including reclaimed pine “Sugar Cubes” made from beams salvaged from the Domino Sugar Factory and cast concrete coffee tables resembling a canyon. The showroom is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (74 Franklin Street, NYC).

Pomme New York, Inc. is reopening its Southampton location, with partnerships including Missoni Home, Kartell, Bolon and Trend-Group, and products including soft furnishings, custom upholstery/drapery, flooring, gifts and accessories. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. (94 Main Street, Southampton, New York).

Valitalia, the Italian furnishings and accessories brand, will launch its first flagship store in Paramus, New Jersey with a cocktail party on June 4. The store is open Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (185 Route 17, Paramus).

Chicago, IL

Lee Jofa and Brunschwig & Fils recently opened a newly renovated and expanded showroom on the 6th floor, Suite 6-149, at Chicago’s Design Center at the Merchandise Mart. Though the two companies have separated merchandising and their own individual entrances, the 10,000-plus-square-foot showroom is connected inside to allow easy access to both brands. Miami, FL

Daltile has opened its fourth design studio, with this location in Miami. The 4,600-square-foot, two-story studio space encompasses a tile library, workspaces and a KeysGranite stone and slab yard. The studio showcases both KeysGranite and Daltile products, including ceramic, porcelain, glass, metal and natural stone tile. The studio is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (8788 NW 27th St, Miami).

Washington, DC

Boffi's Georgetown showroom in Washington, DC, was recently remodeled and now highlights the brand's latest kitchen, bathroom and accessory lines and wardrobe systems. The space is now shared 50-50 between Boffi and Maxalto/B&B Italia. During the summer Boffi Georgetown is opened Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (3320 M Street, NW, Washington, DC).

Carmel, IN

Fine Estate Art & Rugs and Gallery Two have both opened at the Indiana Design Center. Fine Estate Art represents Indiana artwork from the 19th century onward, while Gallery Two showcases the work of living artists working in the impressionistic plein air style. The galleries are open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (200 South Rangeline Road, Suite 120B, Carmel).
