Cleveland’s top designers have been invited to create tablescapes for the Ohio Design Centre’s annual Entertaining by Design showcase. The event is open to the public on Friday, November 6, from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On display will be traditional tablescapes, as well as more whimsical setups. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or online. Attendees get to vote for the People’s Choice award, while a three-judge panel will select winners for Best of Show, Best Interpretation of a Theme, Most Over-the-Top and Best Student Presentation.

“The Ohio Design Centre has gathered many of the area’s top interior designers to inspire, educate and support a wonderful charity partner. Entertaining by Design is truly a veritable feast for the eyes,” says Crickett Karson, the center’s spokesperson. The Malachi House will host the Patron Party on November 6, from 7 to 10 p.m., with live entertainment and food. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased online. Proceeds from the two days support the Malachi House of Hope, a free home for terminally ill patients in need.
