Presented by Sight Unseen in partnership with Noho-Bowery Stakeholders, the third annual NoHo Design District aims to be New York Design Week's incubator for new ideas and talent. It will play host to exhibitions, product launches, events, parties, and creative collaborations from May 18-21, concurrent with the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF).

The event will occupy two new NoHo hubs, one at The Standard, East Village, with public spaces filled with cutting-edge design exhibitions presented by Sonos, maker of wireless HiFi systems. The installations include a California design show curated by Sight Unseen, a live stool-making performance by the Irish brand Makers & Brothers, an exhibition by Cool Hunting, Architizer, and Dwell of objects at the intersection of architecture and furniture, and a design and sound installation by Sonos. The second hub is the building at 22 Bond, a former print shop which will host installations by Bec Brittain, Areaware, Chen Chen and Kai Williams, Fort Standard, DMY, and more.

Retail windows throughout Noho will display work by members of the American Design Club, acting as a curated walking tour of the up-and-coming American design scene. As in years past, the district will also encompass local stores including The Future Perfect, Oak, Zero + Maria Cornejo, Environment Furniture, Rogan, and Partners & Spade.
