Online vintage and modern furniture, art, fashion and jewelry site VandM has launched a Connoisseurs initiative that lets curators promote and support their favorite charities.

Curators include experts in fashion, art and design. V&M has announced its latest batch of curators: Frederique van der Wal, Olivia Sandelman, Jennifer Gilbert, Hans J. Galutera, Courtney Cachet, Jacqui Lividini, and Adria de Haume.

“As we continue to create exciting, new, and distinctive content, V&M is pleased to offer influential talent a unique way to satisfy their creative instincts and altruistic passions through curating V&M product for their own Connoisseur sale,” states V&M CEO, R. Adam Smith.

The September Connoisseurs sale includes Jennifer Gilbert and Hans J. Galutera.

Gilbert (above left) is the founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Save the Date, an event management company servicing Fortune 500 companies. Gilbert, who has  been included on Working Women’s Top 500 List, will donate the proceeds of her sale to Pencils of Promise. Galutera (above right), co-founder and principal of BG Studios, a global interior design firm with offices in New York City that works in hospitality, commercial and residential interior design, will be donating proceeds to NY Eleven Plus Inc. Foundation.

The initiative debuted this summer with interior designer Charlotte Moss, jewelry and home accessories designer Monica Rich Kosann and co-founders of pop-culture new media platform SHFT actor Adrian Grenier and producer Peter Glatzer. Moss's sale benefitted the Bone Marrow Foundation, which offers financial assistance and support services to bone marrow and stem cell transplant patients and their families. Kosann’s sale benefitted Women in Need, which provides homeless women and their families safe, clean housing, and helps them enhance their skills and become self-reliant. Mobile Kitchen Classroom, running under SHFT Initiatives, was the charity of choice for Grenier and Glatzer. This non-profit provides New York City high school students with the opportunity to engage in experiential lessons around food, health and sustainability.
