The Miami Home Design and Remodeling Show will feature the original designs of professional South Florida interior designers, March 22 – 24.

"The designer rooms were introduced over thirty years ago by designer Gloria Blake," said Sharon Berube, marketing director for the show. "Although she passed away many years ago, the rooms at the show carry on her legacy. She believed, as do we, that it is a great way to encourage interaction between designers and the public.

The designers including Tatiana Alessandrini of Tatiana Alessandrini Designs, Tamara Roth of Kreative Makeovers, Suzanne Lawson of Suzanne Lawson Design, Natalie Benhamu of B83 Design Studio and Lilia Maktouf of Casa Interiors will each be celebrating a different design style from around the globe.

Other highlights of the show include “An Artist Encounter,” an interactive event featuring two live artists at work each day.  Featured art includes traditional artwork, culinary creations and wearable art.

Complimentary seminars on a variety of home improvement and design topics will be featured throughout the weekend.  Show attendees can also learn healthy eating tips as they enjoy cooking demonstrations by a variety of guest chefs.

The show also provides an opportunity to talk one-on-one with professionals who specialize in home improvement and interior design, as part of “Talk with Professionals.”

Show hours are Friday, March 22 and Saturday March 23 from 12:00 – 10:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 24 from 12:00 – 7:30 p.m.  Ticket prices are $10 for adults and children under 11 are $1.
