Margaret Russell has joined the art and design magazine GALERIE as editor at large. The former ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST editor in chief will consult on editorial strategy and content starting with the publication’s fourth issue, set to be published in March 2017. She’ll also work on the launch of the magazine’s WEBSITE.

Galerie is truly a treasure,” Russell says. “It’s a brand that brilliantly reflects the signature vision of its founder, Lisa Cohen, and I’m very excited to help nurture its development and expansion.”

“Margaret is a visionary media expert and she is bringing her knowledge and influence in the worlds of art and design to Galerie,” says Cohen, who founded the magazine in the spring of this year. “We are so thrilled to have Margaret join the magazine and to collaborate with us to refine and expand the Galerie vision and brand.”

It was ANNOUNCED in early November that the magazine’s founding editorial team would be replaced, including its editor in chief, Suzanne Slesin, who is also founder, publisher and editorial director of POINTED LEAF PRESS.
