LEGENDS to host Jeffrey Alan Marks, Nate Berkus and more

La Cienega Design Quarter has announced the theme for LEGENDS 2016: “One of a Kind.” This year’s program unfolds May 3 to 5, and will feature eight keynote panels with leading designers like Nina Campbell of London, Robert Stilin from New York, designer and author Jay Jeffers of San Francisco, Bravo’s Million Dollar Decorator Jeffrey Alan Marks, Andrew Brown from Birmingham, Ellen Design Challenge collaborator Jane Hallworth of Los Angeles, and emerging designer Brian Paquette from Seattle. Also returning are 60 designer window vignettes in La Cienega Design Quarter, designed by Campbell, Stilin, Marks, Brown and Nate Berkus.

The panel topics will include, among others:

Identity Theft: Maintaining Personal Identity in a Professionally Designed Home

Putting Social Media in Its Place: Are You Social Media Elite or Are You Too Elite for Social Media?

The Age Factor: Integrating Objects From the Past Into Current Design

Celebrity Status: Who Is the Celebrity? Designer or Client?

Speaking of social media, also coming to the City of Angels is a group of top design influencers, including Justina Blakeney, Amber Lewis, Orlando Soria, Anthony D’Argenzio, Sarah Sherman Samuel, Dabito, Holly Phillips and Marisa Marcantonio.

Also on the docket are book signings with Will Taylor-Willis, Tricia Foley, Richard Shapiro and others, as well as a full lineup of social events, like the LEGENDS Gala on May 3 and the annual Blogger Breakfast on May 4. Learn more and register.
