Interior design committee supports NY Fall Antiques show

This year, the fall antiques season kicks off with the newly re-branded AVENUE Antiques, Art & Design at the Armory featuring over 50 international dealers specializing in high quality art and antiques from a wide range of disciplines and eras.

Interior Designers Ellie Cullman and Jamie Drake will be co-chairing the Design Committee. Joining them will be design stars Mario Buatta, Bunny Williams, Matthew Patrick Smyth, Susanna Salk, Thom Filicia, Geoffrey Bradfield, Maureen Footer, Amanda Nisbet, Richard Mishaan, Campion Platt, William McIntosh, Darren Henault, Aurelien Galet, Katie Ridder, Timothy J Whealon, Malcolm James Kutner, Jeff Lincoln, Tamzin Greenhill, Samuel Botero, Victoria Hagan , Jay Jeffers, Jeff Lincoln and more.

Connoisseurs and neophytes will be invited to preview world-class French, English, Italian and Continental furniture from the 17th century through mid-century modern; fine art from 19th century European to Contemporary; Classical antiquities; fine silver including early American, Tiffany, Jensen, Art Deco and Italian Modernist; Russian antiquities; antique enamels; rugs and tapestries; English and Chinese export porcelain; ceramics; pottery; sculpture; decorative glass; antique, vintage and fine jewelry; vintage handbags, rare books and much more.

The show has increased its 20th century selection has increased with the addition of Lobel Modern, James Infante, Macklowe Gallery, Galerie Curial Fine Art, Philip Chasen Antiques, J Lohmann Gallery, Mark Helliar 20th Century Design.

Antiques, Art & Design at the Armory will open with a private VIP preview on September 21st to benefit the new Dubin Breast Center at Mt Sinai Hospital and run daily through September 25. Show programming will include exclusive Royal Oak Foundation lectures, Interior Design and Estate Jewelry lectures and book signings along with designer panel discussions, including Decorating with Antiques in the Modern World, moderated by Susanna Salk.
