IDS to host conference in Dallas next week

Dann Foley, Gail Doby and Julie Schuster will take the stage during the upcoming national Interior Design Society conference, held at the Dallas Market Center from March 30 to April 1, during the Total Home & Gift Market. The conference, themed “Building a Better Business: One Design at a Time,” will focus on improving and expanding designers’ businesses.

Guest speakers include Schuster, principal of Julie Schuster Design Studio; MaLinda Perry, color specialist; Fred Berns, sales and marketing coach; Mark Raissen of LightRaze; Lloyd Princeton, design coach; Joe Jankoski, VP of retail channel development for Hunter Douglas; and design consultant Barbara Viteri.

“We are in the midst of an expansion of design partnerships and resources,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “We truly believe in fostering the growth of the design community by offering them as many events and resources as we can make available.”
