On the heels of its Spring show, Highpoint Furniture Market has just published its Spring trend report. Here are some of the highlights of what was on view—and what's predicted in the pike:

Belgian influences, particularly washed-wood tones; and handcrafted, with hammered metals, rustic pottery or folk-art references.

Moroccan, Arabic influences in tiles, textiles and architectural details.

Tufting, button details on fronts, backs and all over.

Industrial chic, but this time with an emphasis on repurposing.

Nesting tables (and chairs and even shelving).

Chevron patterns.

And here's what the Highpoint authorities predict is coming soon to the home front: space age inspiration; vintage bazaar look; birds and blues in a bevy of hues ranging from sea to sky.

Asian exotica, with pagoda and dragon-inspired references.

Classical references: scroll forms, Louis (XIV, XV etc) references, Klismos chairs, arches.

Elephant forms, on fabrics and accessories.

Pop art.

Curved lines.
