New York Tabletop Market is in full swing at Forty-One Madison. The four-day event opened yesterday to buyers and retailers — and tomorrow, April 18, it welcomes interior designers to preview new collections and collaborations for Interior Designer Day, co-hosted by Editor at Large. From showroom events to new introductions, here’s a list of what’s new and what not to miss throughout the week.

Mottahedeh is showing the all-new Tony DuQuette collection. A new dinnerware pattern called Barriera Corallina, which was made from DuQuette’s personal coral collection and some of his original pieces, will be on display along with the new tableware. The collection is made from high-fired porcelain on a 10-sided plate with a sculpted raised coral border that is hand painted. They will be available in three colorways: red, gold and platinum. Three new service plates in very bright colors were inspired by DuQuette’s fabric collection for Thompson, among other new pieces. The collection will be on display in the showroom on the 21st floor throughout market.

Marchesa Midnight Blue

Lenox will debut its Marchesa Midnight Blue dinnerware collection by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig. The  collection is a bold, yet refined fusion of fashion and florals. The rich cobalt blue against bright white porcelain brings to mind the intricate embroideries found on Marchesa’s runway gowns. An evening of cocktails and a preview of the collection will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Lenox Showroom. This is a private event, by invitation only.

Vista Alegre's Christian Lacroix collection

Portuguese porcelain and crystal brand Vista Alegre and the French fashion maison Christian Lacroix have formed a partnership to create four collections of tableware and decorative pieces: Butterfly Parade, Picassiete, Sol y Sombra and Forum. The collection will be on display throughout market and the showroom will host a private launch event on Wednesday evening.

Seguso introduced the first-ever LED chandelier at Salone del Mobile in Milan last week, and will feature it for the U.S. Market this week at Forty-One Madison. Seguso has combined the Murano tradition with LED technology in their chandeliers without removing the magic of glass and the refracted light. The LED light is wrapped in a drop of blown glass, inspired by the shape of a light bulb, to present itself in a variety of decorative styles. They can also take the shape of a flame, a small flower, or sinuous shapes enriched by slight details of color.

Seguso will also be introducing new furniture, glass handles, lanterns and classic chandeliers.

Rallye 24 collection

RALLYE 24, the new dinnerware collection by Hermès, tells a new story on porcelain. It is playfully reworked as a car racetrack with its straight lines and oval corners, all short-circuiting with their foot to the floor. Glossy as a car’s paintwork, the rims of the dish speak the language of racing liveries in gray, yellow, green, red and blue.

Saint-Louis 21-light Apollo Chandelier

Three new chandelier collections from Saint-Louis Crystal will debut at market. The collections include the Excess Chandeliers, the Apollo Chandeliers and the Flannel-Grey Classique Chandeliers. Inspired by the crude form of rock crystal, the Excess line is enhanced by two new horizontal pieces. The crystal, refined by the iconic diamond-cut, offers a masterly and contemporary reinterpretation. Heirs to the 2011 Collection, the new Apollo chandeliers, designed by Godefroy de Virieu and Stefania Di Petrillo, break away from classic norms to offer a playful and light-filled bouquet. The baroque boudoir style introduced by the Classique line of chandeliers now comes in iconic Saint-Louis color: flannel grey crystal. Three models—the Classique, Classique Grand Siècle and Classique Renversant—are thus crafted in the iconic flannel grey crystal, whose dense yet soft color emits a distinctive sparkle with warm cinder hues.

Michael Aram is introducing new lighting, furniture and textiles as well as the brand-new collection “New Leaves.” New Leaves, which debuts this fall, includes an extensive assortment of gift items mainly under $99. Items from the spring collection are inspired by Aram’s love of the outdoors and include the Tortoise table lamps, Lily Pad tables, Coocoon lamps and the Hammertone pillows among others.

“My designs are always an extension of my surroundings,” said Aram. “Inspiration comes from the energy I feel in nature or the craftsmen at my factory in India. To me, there is something so magical about taking elements of the outdoor world and creating highly interpretive pieces that fill a room with a lasting sense of organic form and texture.”

Royal Copenhagen's Blue Fluted Mega

Royal Copenhagen has reinvented a classic with the Blue Fluted Mega collection. It took a visionary young artist to take on the legendary Blue Fluted design and twist it—and with a love for the classic, hand-painted service and the courage to modernize it, Karen Kjældgaard-Larsen was the one to do it. Since its introduction, Blue Fluted Mega has become a neo-classic, updating while still honoring the 1775 design.

L’Object will introduce the Fall 2013 collection, Cabinet of Curiosites. The collection will feature more than 60 new pieces that will be a culmination of the inspiration gathered throughout the brand’s first chapter over the past nine years, ultimately making way for the next chapter which will be marked by its 10th anniversary celebration in 2014.

Herend's monogram coasters

Herend will debut custom monogram coasters from A – Z. The coasters are bright-white porcelain with a gold band and a gold script letter. Herend will also introduce new figurines including an eagle, peacock, dragon, lioness and cub.

In the Reed & Barton Showroom, new additions to the Thomas O’Brien collection will be introduced.

Lalique's Fleur du Desert Decanter 2013 vintage edition

Designers are invited to preview the new Fall/Winter 203 collections from Lalique and the Fall 2013 collection from Lladro.

Wedgwood's new modern dinnerware draws on the geometric patterns and textural shapes of the striking architectural movement creating a collection that is distinctively English, and identifiably Wedgwood.

Michael Wainwright's Spring 2013 dinnerware

Designers are also invited to preview the new tabletop and giftware collection for Spring 2013 at Michael Wainwright on the 17th floor.

The Forty-One Madison lobby will feature four vignette settings in the lobby created by The Knot Magazine. Among them will be an “Emerald Green Fantasy” table—inspired by Pantone’s Color of the Year. The table will be an homage to a high-end garden style wedding.

Interior Designer day takes place from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18. Designers are asked to RSVP.
