As part of ADAC's recent announcement that it is open to the public, Hearst Design Group (ELLE DECOR, House Beautiful and VERANDA) will host two days of events, November 1 and 2, featuring panels, events and presentations in showrooms throughout the center for decorating enthusiasts.

Newell Turner, editor in chief of Hearst Design Group, kicks off the program on Thursday, November 1st at 10:30 a.m., and will discuss the legacy of authentic American design and what to expect in the ever‐evolving design landscape. Later that day, at 1:30 p.m., ELLEDECOR.com editor Amy Preiser will present ‘Making the Web Your Best Design Tool.’ She will be sharing the stage with designers Susan Ferrier and Capella Kincheloe.

On Friday, November 2nd at 10:30 a.m., Dara Caponigro, editor‐in‐chief of VERANDA, welcomes designers Alexa Hampton and Brian McCarthy for a panel discussion.

“Hearst Design Group is comprised of the most highly‐regarded design publications, and by teaming up with them, we will be able to bring the best of the national design community to ADAC,” said Katie Belveal, ADAC General Manager. “Since ADAC has opened its doors to a larger audience, we would like to reach out to design enthusiasts around the world, and bring them in to Discover ADAC.”

“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with ADAC,” said Kate Kelly Smith, Senior Vice President, Chief Revenue Officer and Group Publishing Director of Hearst Design Group. “Each month, ELLE DECOR, House Beautiful and VERANDA bring their very distinct points of view on design to millions of readers. Our editors have all hosted hugely popular events at ADAC in the past – we’re delighted to be a part of Discover ADAC bringing all three magazines together there for the very first time.”

Each of the keynote presentations will be held in the Seminar Room, and additional programming will be hosted throughout

the ADAC showrooms. Specific details on each event, as well as showroom events and receptions will be available soon here.
