ADAC has teamed up with the Hearst Design Group (ELLE DECOR, House Beautiful and VERANDA) to invite design professionals and enthusiasts to learn how they can make design fit into their lifestyle this summer.

On Wednesday, June 19 and Thursday, June 20, Hearst Design Group editors—Newell Turner, editorial director of the Hearst Design Group; Amy Preiser, editor of ELLEDECOR.com; and Leslie Newsom Rascoe, contributing interiors editor of VERANDA—along with other special guests, invite guests to take a fresh look “inside design.”

Turner

“I am always excited to come to ADAC, and am particularly delighted this time as I get to discuss the evolution of how we make sense of our lives through design,” said Turner. “From the earliest days of journal-keeping and scrapbooking to the new ways we scrapbook with Pinterest and other digital methods, I’m very interested in how people assemble and keep track of images that are important to them, whether they are favorite patterns or textures or photographs that inspire.”

Attendees will learn about the newest products in home décor, ways to define personal style, develop strong web presence, and how to find inspiration from a group of leading design experts.

“This is the first time ADAC and Hearst Design Group will bring together three established publications for two days of events,” said Katie Belveal, ADAC general manager. “Designers and design enthusiasts will be able to hear from not just one, but three prominent editors who will share insights from each of their distinctly different perspectives. By teaming up with Hearst Design Group, we will be able to bring the best of the national design community to ADAC."
