Each summer at Las Vegas Market, the Ahead of the Curve (AOC) live panel brings together a trio of design stars to share the “best of the best” in products and trends found at Market. Now in its seventh edition, the AOC includes interior designers Thom Filicia from New York, Michelle Nussbaumer from Texas and Timothy Corrigan from California, this time around—each of whom will present a different perspective on what’s new for fall to Market attendees at an event on Tuesday, July 29 at 10:00 a.m.

Prior to the discussion, the team will scour five million square feet of showrooms at World Market Center Las Vegas to find their top picks. The products will be on stage with the panel during the discussion, allowing the audience to experience them first-hand.
“I am so excited about the designers we are hosting this year. Thom, Michelle and Timothy’s energy and passion for design is infectious,” said Susanna Salk, who will moderate the panel. “Exploring the market through their eyes will be invaluable to anyone attending. It's not just about what trends they see; it's understanding what they love and why.”
Immediately following this panel discussion, a meet-and-greet and book signing with the panelists, along with lunch, will be held in Safavieh’s showroom (A-101) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Throughout the week, other programming will cover a broad range of topics including merchandising, color and product trends, e-commerce and digital strategies, customer loyalty and sales training techniques.
Notable seminars will include “Sherwin-Williams 2015 Colormix™ Color Forecast,” by Laurie E. Clark of the Sherwin-Williams Company; a double-header FIRST LOOK program with special guests Joy Cho of Oh Joy! and Ron Woodson and Jaime Rummerfield of Woodson & Rummerfield’s House of Design, hosted by Julie Smith Vincenti of Nine Muses Media; a look at the “Anatomy of Antiques: An Insider’s Guide to Trends in Vintage & Antiques, Sourcing Secrets Locally and Abroad and Must-Knows of Style” presented by The Antiques Diva Toma Clark Haines; plus a special “Behind the Design” panel discussion of NBC’s first season of “American Dream Builders” with the show’s winner Lukas Machnik, celebrity designer host Monica Pederson and some favorite contestants from the show.
