Mieke ten Have is returning to ELLE DECOR as design editor at large, after a two-plus-year stint as home editor at Vogue, while Senga Mortimer has been appointed contributing design editor at the magazine. Both appointments are effective immediately, and both editors will report to Editor-in-Chief Michael Boodro.

“I could not be more pleased to have Mieke back on the team. She possesses enormous style and enthusiasm, with a passion for interiors, and she will be an incredible asset as we continue to find and showcase the world’s best homes, designers and products,” said Boodro. “I am thrilled to have Senga working with the ELLE DECOR team. Her legendary eye and superb talents add great value to our pages.”

Mieke ten Have returns to ELLE DECOR.

Ten Have will produce features, oversee ELLE DECOR’s Style Sheet page and seek out new talent. Her most recent role was as Vogue’s home editor, producing and styling home shoots, writing a monthly column, covering design news and overseeing the home market. She worked as market editor at the Hearst Design Group and associate style editor at ELLE DECOR from 2010 to 2013, and has held editorial design positions at The Wall Street Journal and British site Mydeco.com. Mortimer will spotlight new projects for the magazine as well as write and produce shoots while she remains in her role at House Beautiful’s as editor at large.
