After a record-breaking show in 2014, Dwell on Design (DODLA) returns, offering 400 exhibitors, over 250 speakers and continuing education opportunities for its 10th anniversary year. The tradeshow will run from May 29 to 31 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

This year, the section Dwell Outdoor has been expanded to 28,000 square feet, including the first-ever Dwell Outdoor Cinema. Additionally, the Modern Family Pavilion will showcase the latest in kid-friendly furnishings, and the Fort Peck – Make It Right and Monogram Modern Home prefabs by Method Homes will be available to be explored by designers. The Re-Imagination Pavilion features LG Studio kitchen appliances and NKBA and ASID professionals to dole out advice on kitchen design.

The tradeshow will host the fifth annual Dwell on Design Awards, preceded by the “Nice Modernist” award. Presented by Dwell president and CEO Michela O’Connor Abrams, this recognizes individuals who improve the quality of life for others through design and philanthropy. The AIA Restaurant Design Awards will also take place during the tradeshow; award finalists will present the panel “Behind Great Restaurant Design” prior to the ceremony on Saturday, May 30.

As part of DODLA’s premier partnership with Porsche, attendees will be able to test drive the new 2015 Cayenne, as well as visit a materials lab and interactive lobby installation. Test drives will be available May 30 and 31. Media partners include Architizer, Archilovers and Design Milk.
