‘Bronze Studio’ is the latest design incarnation from Michael Berman. The flagship showroom and new home furnishings brand will showcase the designer’s products and interiors and pay homage to classic lines and ideas.

“I wanted to in essence be ‘the captain’ of my own ship,” said Berman. “The showroom allows me to merchandise the furniture and my found objects and vintage all together; more of a lifestyle approach that gives a broader presentation to my clients and customers, showing my design focus and the way I like to put various pieces together in a home.”

Inspired by the comfort and styling of American Modernism and simplicity of form, Berman's work resonates with an organic warmth and approachability.

He hopes his main audience will be other interior designers and architects. “They are the audience that I design for,” he said. “Often I'll collaborate with a designer that walks in to customize one of the existing pieces in my line for their project. Being a ‘California grown’ company allows me to have a more hands-on relationship with the designers that purchase from me.”

The Los Angeles location was a perfect fit for Berman. Located at 7257 Beverly Blvd. is steps from his Design Studio, which has been the headquarters for his company for over 11 years. The showroom sits high above the sidewalk and has great window visibility. “It is part of the Beverly Boulevard Art & Design District (BADD) in Los Angeles, home to cool boutique Designer shops, galleries and restaurant. It's a great shopping destination.”

The best part of opening a shop for Berman has been meeting his customers and their clients. “It's seriously rewarding for me—working intimately with my customers and suggesting ideas for their homes and projects. I love the collaborative experience.”

The showroom is now open and the official Grand-Opening will be in May. Stay tuned for event details.
