Calling all design bloggers: The High Point Market Authority has just announced a Design Bloggers Tour for this October's market. Ten design bloggers will be selected for a three-day showroom tour, kicked off in tandem with market's opening. The tour is part of a newly announced partnership with Esteem Media, which produces the yearly Design Bloggers Conference. Says Esteem Media founder Adam Japko, "It will be great exposure for the bloggers we recruit and handpick to touch and see the up-and-coming trends, and a great opportunity for participating exhibitors to promote their products.”

High Point's fall market will host selected bloggers.

The tour will also feature educational programming, a networking event and an in-depth look at exhibitors' showrooms and products. The bloggers will attend a panel presented by magazine editors Elizabeth Ralls of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and Kyle Hoepner of New England Home on “Design and Sense of Place: How Do Geography and Aesthetic Relate?” Interested in applying? Design bloggers and other social media influencers should email info@design-bloggers-conference.com by August 4 for application rules and details.

The conference will be in addition to the Style Spotters program, which will continue on with the current group of designers who started their stints during the Spring Market.
