Prominent interior designers will convene at the stately Mayflower Grace in Washington, Connecticut, on June 13 to discuss all things interior design at “Day of Design.” The morning’s panels begin with “Styling the Collection,” with Kathryn McCarver Root of KMR Arts Gallery, designer Alan Tanksley, and Kyle Hoepner, editor in chief of New England Home Magazine, who will talk about creating and displaying collections. Next on the docket is “Bold Moments in Design,” a panel with designer-stylist-writer Stacy Kunstel, Kati Curtis and Justin Shaulis, who will discuss how to make the strongest statement. Afternoon panels include “The Narrative of Wallpaper,” with designer Philip Gorrivan and Fromental North America Director Melissa Mittag, and “Designing Paradises” with Robert Couturier discussing his dream-home projects.
