Interior designer and writer David Netto will serve as honorary chairperson of this year’s East Hampton Antiques Show Preview Cocktail Party, to be held July 17 on the 3.5-acre Mulford Farm in the heart of East Hampton Village. The party will benefit the East Hampton Historical Society and will treat guests to a look at the property's 17th-century farmhouse, several barns and outbuildings, all of which are among Long Island's oldest. The sale, taking place July 18 and 19, will feature treasures for the home and garden from 50-plus arts and antique dealers.

“Growing up in East Hampton gave me such a love of American architecture—the older and humbler the better, though in East Hampton we do have all kinds. The buildings that the East Hampton Historical Society celebrates and contributes so much to maintain are important because they make up the composition of one of the loveliest and best-planned villages in America,” shared Netto.

The fair and the cocktail party will both be held at Mulford Farm.

Tickets for the cocktail party begin at $150 per person and include return visits to the fair over the weekend. Junior tickets for those age 40 and under are priced at $100. Contact the East Hampton Historical Society at 631-324-6850, e-mail at info@easthamptonhistory.org or visit the East Hampton Historical Society’s office at 101 Main Street, East Hampton, from Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. till 5 p.m., to purchase tickets, or buy them online.
