The northmodern fair enters its fourth year, August 18 to 20, with a focus on Nordic and Scandinavian design, alongside international brands. This year's show, to be held in Copenhagen, will feature first-time participant furniture manufacturer Fredericia, as well as furniture firm Engelbrechts, and Danish furniture and design house Paustian, among others.

“Northmodern is more than a fair; it's a design week. People are bored of ‘normal’ fairs. They want more, and we [Copenhagen] can offer that by adding more experiences to their travel,” explains Morten Engelbrecht, design director of Engelbrechts.

Among the other notable exhibitors and products are heritage ceramics brand Kähler; furnituremaker Wendelbo Interiors; furniture and lighting from Mater; Dutch designers Vij5; and Swedish furniture brand Lammhults, as well as major design distributors Roam and Hornbak & Co., which will showcase international names including Resident, Stellar Works, Arper, Zeitraum, Offecct and Kasthall.
