On Tuesday night, CTC&G (Connecticut Cottages & Gardens) presented the seventh annual Innovation in Design Awards (IDAs), recognizing top designs across Connecticut in the fields of architecture, interiors, kitchen, bath, product and landscape design, at an awards gala at the Stamford Hilton Garden Pavilion.
This year, Jonathan Adler was the recipient of the 2013 Innovator Award—which is presented to an icon of the design industry—as the individual who has achieved an overarching level of innovation and excellence and someone whose work and vision has touched various corners of the globe.

The other winners of this year's IDAs were as follows:
Interior Design: Lynn Morgan Design; and de-spec and Alisberg Parker Architects, LLC as runners up.
Product Design: Kravet Digital Printing
Architecture: Joeb Moore + Partners LLC; and Fresh Architect; Pegg Rubens-Duhl, AIA; and Charles Hilton Architects & Douglas VanderHorn Architects formerly of Hilton-Vanderhorn Architects as runners up.
Landscape: Alice Cooke Design Associates, LLC; and Devore Associates and Ben Young Landscape Design as runners up.
Bath: Pagliaro Bartels Sajda Architects, LLC; and Rinfret, Ltd. and Alisberg Parker Architects, LLC as runners up.
Kitchen: Sage Design; and Burke A. Cheney for DEANE Inc. and McGuire Home as runners up.
Builder Recognition Award: JB Construction LLC with Rhonda and Dennis Cohen.

The winning projects will be featured in the July/August 2013 issue of CTC&G.
Hamptons and New York-based projects may be submitted for the HC&G and NYC&G Innovation in Design Awards online.
