The Conran Shop is presenting RED, a special exhibition of furniture, lighting and home accessories, each specially produced in a red color way by over 50 designers. The exhibition celebrates the company's 25 anniversary and takes place at the Michelin Building during London Design Festival.
The international cadre of designers includes Jasper Morrison, Nendo, Ross Lovegrove, Studio Job, Thomas Heatherwick, Noe Duchaufour-Lawrance, Manolo Blahnik and Front Design.
On Saturday, September 22, the Conran Shop will host a design talk with Kati Price, Head of Digital at the Design Council at 1:30pm with Benjamin Hubert and 3pm with Natasha Daintry.
The variety of international designers participating in RED highlights Conran's commitment to design with collaborations with both world-renowned designers and emerging talent. All of the pieces, including the limited-edition and bespoke items —like a cashmere throw designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, produced in the UK by Johnstons of Elgin and a three-meter Lobster sculpture by legendary kite maker Petit Pan—will be available for purchase after the close of the festival on September 24.
