The Robert Allen showroom reopened with a grand celebration on September 10 at the brand’s midtown Manhattan location. With a 100-person guest list highlighted by appearances by Drew McGukin, Bennett Lieffer, Robin Baron, Robert Passel, Michael Tavano and other designers and industry pros, the event heralded the unveiling of brand’s newly reimagined space. Guests enjoyed oysters provided by Oysters XO and an array of New York–inspired hors d’oeuvres, including bahn-mi, falafel, pizettes and bistro burgers by Sweet Basil Catering, and drinks including prosecco, white wine, sparkling gin cocktails and sparkling vodka cocktails.
“We built this showroom with the designer in mind. Not only is beautiful and inspiring to be in but it is easy to shop. We have already received a great deal of compliments on the lighting and intuitive layout which so important for a good working environment," Philip H. Kowalczyk, president and CEO of Robert Allen, tells EAL.
