C&G publications launch ‘Shop the Look’ with Lillian August

Cottages & Gardens readers rejoice! The publication has renewed its efforts to get the products it features into your design projects. C&G Shop the Look, as the initiative is called, is a digital feature that allows readers to shop the pages of the magazines and re-create the style of their favorite editorial features.

For the first C&G Shop the Look issue, the February edition of CTC&G (Connecticut Cottages & Gardens), the magazine has teamed up with Lillian August to create dynamic rooms with a selection of hand-picked products from the Lillian August collection, which will be up for grabs on the CTC&G website.

“Our readers love the fact that the rooms in our magazines are designed by the finest tastemakers in the world,” said Cottages & Gardens Publications CEO & Publication Director Marianne Howatson. “We provide the resources for these looks in our pages and now we are giving readers the opportunity to create a similar look by buying directly through us.”

She added, “We are delighted that Lillian August is our premier partner and that they bring their great variety of furnishings and accessories to delight our online shoppers.”

Dan Weiss, CEO and president of Lillian August, said the company's hope is that the pieces featured in the magazine will  “fuel the creative process and offer an easy and dynamic way to explore Lillian August’s home furnishings and accessories.”

After the initial Feb. launch, the platform will eventually roll out to all markets including NYC&G, HC&G and SFC&G, with the inclusion of other manufacturers.
