Academy Award–winning costume designer Catherine Martin is launching Paradiso, a fabric collection with Mokum. Martin’s third collaboration with the brand, a high-performance line suitable for indoor and outdoor application, draws influence from her recent interiors work on the Faena Hotel in South Beach, Miami.

“I am so very excited to be launching my third collection and my first indoor/outdoor range with Mokum,” the designer says on the brand’s website. “This collection, Paradiso, explores some of the equatorial themes that I touched on in developing fabrics for the Faena Hotel project. The designs are a celebration of tropical color and exuberance. Playing with vibrant hues, scale and textured fabric constructions has allowed us to bring to life a range that marries elegance, humor and a playful wink to the glamour of late 1940s Miami.”

Martin has designed sets and costumes for films including Moulin Rouge!, The Great Gatsby, Romeo + Juliet and others.
