Join us at the Manhattan headquarters of the legendary auction house, where Mason Lane founder Katharine Earnhardt will lead attendees through the exhibition, highlighting key works for sale while simultaneously offering an overview of the auction process and sharing insights on the photography market, including specifics about quality, pricing and resources. Through 15 years of experience in the New York and London art worlds, Katharine Earnhardt has cultivated an in-depth knowledge of the market and an aptitude for refining clients’ tastes. With a dual degree in art history and economics from Williams College and a master’s in art business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, she has conducted extensive research on art valuation and investment, and her curriculum vitae includes positions at notable institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art, Christie’s and Gurr Johns. Known for her approachability, transparency and discerning eye, Earnhardt instills trust and confidence in her clients. She leads classes and speaks frequently on the market, educating designers and other creative professionals about sourcing and acquiring art.
