During Paris Design Week, the ASID NY Metro Chapter’s 2nd Annual Paris Experience was a unique opportunity for a delegation of high-profile interior designers from the New York area to connect with one another and view firsthand many important long-lasting trends from the design festival that influence their local design businesses.
Twenty-five attendees joined past ASID NY Metro presidents Kim Radovich, Bjorn Bjornsson and Robin Baron, president-elect Benjamin Huntington, and then Long Island liaison to the chapter Katharine McGowan and her predecessor, Jackie Higgins, for four days of experiences in the City of Light.
On Friday, after a one-of-a-kind tour of the Baccarat Museum and lunch in the Cristal Room, attendees were treated to a private tour of the stunning French apartment of designer Timothy Corrigan. Guests sipped Champagne as Corrigan explained his designer vision and inspirations for the space. Shortly after, the group departed for the American Party in Paris.
After the experience, co-hosts Radovich and Huntington said, “Attendees arrived home with a competitive edge in the marketplace, inspiration, newfound resources for current and future projects, and memories of a fabulous experience set in a magical city—Paris.”
