On October 24, Long Island designers gathered to celebrate the first combined Robert Allen Duralee Group showroom’s grand opening, after re-locating the Robert Allen showroom from Woodbury earlier this summer. One hundred guests were on hand, including Marilyn Rose, Jennifer McGraw, Kim Hendrickson Radovich, Alyssa Grella, Robert Peykar, Robin Gordon, Stephen Levine, and RAD Group CEO Lee Silberman and marketing events and communications director Jana Weill. Many guests donned extravagant costumes and mysterious masks in accordance with the masquerade theme.
RAD Group welcomed the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) New York Metro chapter as outgoing Long Island liaison Jackie Higgins announced the new incoming Long Island liaison, Katharine McGowan. A select group of local artists from the Huntington Arts Council showcased their work. Their pieces are still on display in the showroom, and currently available for purchase.
“This was a very special event that celebrated our first combined Robert Allen Duralee Group showroom,” says Silberman. “We are thrilled to have all of our brands under one roof and to provide our designers with our complete product offering in a beautiful setting. Most importantly, this is a sign of the power of two companies becoming one, and our continued commitment to the design industry.”
