On Saturday, January 20, at the Hôtel de l’Industrie in Paris during Déco Off, the American design community gathered to fete Hartmann&Forbes in honor of its 25th anniversary. The soirée, co-hosted by Business of Home’s Dennis Scully, took over the hotel’s third floor. In a nod to the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, a living wall of moss and other embedded fibers at the entrance greeted guests, who toasted the event with their choice of two signature cocktails, accompanied by passed hors d’oeuvres.
The Hartmann&Forbes team—including director of product development Rebecca Welch, western regional manager Cara Webb, eastern regional manager Sharon Miller, director of marketing Pam Ward and director of sales and distribution Dee Cornett—were joined by 75 guests. On hand for the festivities were Andrew Tullis of Tullis Architects, Joanne Riley of The Interior Edge, Dijana Savic-Jambert and Marc Jambert of Maredi Design, Naomi Scott-Dunne of Scott-Dunne Interiors, Katerina Amore Melemeni of Wolves & Ravens Studio, James Hunter and Brenda Mickel of The Wiseman Group, Christi Barbour of Barbour Spangle Design, Andy Doughty and Steven Reker of A+S Collective Designs, Lorri Dwoskin and Darin Filhaber of Marquis Designs, Danielle Colding, Wesley Moon, Beth Krupa, Tyler Banken and Lisa Kanning.
“It was wonderful to be in Paris surrounded by the design community to celebrate our 25th anniversary and introduce our new hand-woven windowcovering collaboration with the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture,” said Welch.
“It was such a pleasure to celebrate Hartmann&Forbes’s 25th anniversary in Paris—and how fun that so many friends, old and new, turned out to toast the occasion,” said Scully.
