Ft. Lauderdale Home Design & Remodeling Show
Over the course of a four-day weekend show, the Fort Lauderdale Home Design and Remodeling Show welcomed tens of thousands of guests including South Florida homeowners and industry professionals to the one-stop-shop destination for everything home—both inside and out. Thousands of products and services were on display, including fine art and decor, hurricane shutters and impact windows, landscaping and artificial turf, patio furniture, whirlpool baths and pools, and more. Guests enjoyed daily lifestyle seminars, feature areas and design expert advice.
Carson Kressley, breakout star of Bravo TV’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and co-host of the new fan favorite interior design show Get a Room With Carson and Thom, gave the Sunday keynote. Alena Capra, owner of Alena Capra Designs and national award-winning interior designer presented “Get the Designer Look for Less”; and Nicole White, president and principal designer of Nicole White Designs Interiors, presented “Surviving the Renovation Process.” Chef Tara Abrams of Crazy Uncle Mike’s and Stefano Campanini of Wine by the Bay introduced guests to food and wine pairings.
“The Home Design and Remodeling Show has successfully proven that this expo has become our exhibitors’ largest source of new business and form of networking," said Adam Kayce, vice president and show director. “It has been exciting to see how they interact and establish new relationships with not only exhibitors within the shows, but the industry professionals attending to find new sources for product and services. These exhibitors are interacting with more potential clients in one event than what most businesses see in an entire year. Not only are exhibitors able to sell direct to thousands of local homeowners, but we have solidified being the single largest sourcing event for the home design and improvement industry in South Florida.”
