Senior Designer
Company: Toledo Geller
Duration: Full-time
Date Posted: 01/08/26
Category: Interior Design
Location: Franklin Lakes
Salary: 50-100k
Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Designer who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, think big, sweat the details, and lead beautiful projects from first spark to final install. This isn’t just about picking pretty things (though we love that part too) — it’s about vision, problem-solving, collaboration, and delivering spaces our clients can’t stop talking about.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Guiding multiple projects at once — from brainstorming the big idea to making sure the last throw pillow is perfectly fluffed.

Setting the design direction for architectural finishes and interiors that feel both thoughtful and wow-worthy, always keeping budgets and client dreams in mind.

Creating and reviewing detailed drawings — floor plans, elevations, sections, millwork, specs — and making sure everything meets our standards for beauty and buildability.

Coordinating with architects, contractors, and consultants so every piece comes together seamlessly.

Reviewing shop drawings and submittals so nothing slips through the cracks.

Mentoring junior team members and helping keep projects on schedule and resourced just right.

Leading design meetings, collaborating with partners, and keeping communication clear and positive.

Presenting ideas to clients with clarity, energy, and a little sparkle.

Tracking milestones and progress alongside our Studio Directors and Principals.

Building strong, lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and everyone who helps make our projects sing.

Navigating contracts, change orders, and project adjustments with a steady hand.

We’re looking for someone who:

Loves the creative process but also thrives in the nitty-gritty.

Can shift from “big picture” to “tiny detail” without missing a beat.

Brings leadership, fresh ideas, and great energy to the table.

Can own a room when presenting, and just as easily roll up their sleeves behind the scenes.

Our aesthetic is refined but approachable, luxurious without feeling precious.
