Job Description

LH, LLC is currently seeking a Junior Designer to work directly with Principal and Design Staff in all areas of Residential Interior Design. This position requires an individual who is self-motivated; highly detailed and assertive. This individual needs to exhibit the ability to be open and flexible towards taking on multiple responsibilities in an ever-changing deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist Designers with all aspects of Residential Design & Project Management including:
- Attend, document and distribute meeting minutes for Client and/or Site meetings.
- Organize and track of all Client & Sub-Contractor communication.
- Assist Designers with development and management of preliminary estimated budgets and spreadsheets.
- Research of product & materials.
- Assist Designers with detailed Project Documentation including measurements of existing site conditions and taking/filing of photos, etc.
- Assist Designers with development and drafting of AutoCAD Plan and Elevations and renderings (proficiency in Adobe Suite, Revit & Sketchup preferred).
- Assist Designers with all Client presentations (all CAD drafts and gathering of specified samples, materials and pricing for design presentation boards, etc.)
- Assist Team with creating Client Proposals (including order specification sheets, research and pricing of all proposed product, etc.)
- Detailed, organized, thorough and timely communication with Vendors, Subcontractors, Clients, etc.
- Assist Operations Manager with order placement and tracking.
- Assist Team with on-site supervision, installations, completion of project punch lists, etc.
- Assist Designers with Time Tracking and Client Billing on a weekly basis.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Bachelor’s with Associate Degree in Interior Design
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) is preferred.
- Skills in Hand Rendering & Perspective Sketching and/or experience with 3D AutoCAD, Revit, and Studio Designer - all a strong plus.
- Positive/Up-beat disposition – A MUST!
- Individual must be professional, responsible, highly organized & detailed oriented, with a strong work ethic and time management skills.
- Must have strong command of the English language with excellent communication skills.
- Diplomacy and discretion are required at all times.
- Protection of LH, LLC’s. resources is expected at all times.
- Individual should be proactive, creative-thinking, and a problem solver.
- Individual must work well independently as well as, in a team environment.
