Ruard Veltman Architecture + Interiors is seeking an in person full or part time Junior Designer / Project Coordinator to join our Interior Design team in Charlotte, NC. Position will assist Designer and Interiors Manager on all phases of high end residential projects from start to finish. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Working with vendors to acquire pricing
-Preparing proposals in design manager software and creating purchase orders
-Communication with vendors regarding order details and status
-Maintaining project trackers with order details and status to ensure goods are arriving to vendors and receiving warehouse
-Assisting with materials and finish selections for Interiors and Architecture projects and putting together schedules
-Attending client meetings and documenting
-Working with Designer to prepare for client presentations
-Daily errands for projects and office as needed
-Organize and maintain resource library
-1-2 years of experience in an Interior Design firm:
-Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the design field
-Ability to read/ draw furniture plans, experience with Autocad/ Vectorworks a plus
-Strong communication skills
-Strong organizational skills, time management, and detail oriented
-Proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe Indesign and design manager software a plus
