Junior Designer: Interior Design
Canyon Creative Studio is a full-service interior architecture and design firm specializing in high-end residential and select commercial projects across the United States and internationally, supported by an 8,000-square-foot retail studio in Los Angeles and an e-commerce platform, canyoncreative.studio. The Studio is known for delivering refined, highly considered interiors that balance creativity with operational rigor.
Canyon Creative Studio is seeking a full-time Junior Designer to join its Hollywood-based team. This is a primarily in-studio role with limited work-from-home flexibility. The Junior Designer will work closely with the Founder/Principal Designer and the Design Team across all phases of project execution, from design development through procurement and installation.
Responsibilities
Produce and maintain AutoCAD drawing sets
Develop 3D models and photorealistic renderings using SketchUp and V-Ray
Assist in preparing client presentations and design documentation
Request vendor quotes and manage order specifications and timelines
Track, expedite, and coordinate furniture, lighting, and material orders
Support client-facing communications as needed
Attend site visits and coordination meetings
Occasional domestic and international travel is required, as projects are located across multiple regions
Qualifications
2–3 years of professional interior design experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop
Strong working knowledge of V-Ray or comparable rendering software
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional professionalism and discretion, as most client projects are conducted under strict confidentiality agreements
