Since 1988, Stephen Mark Johnston designed homes, retail stores, offices,
furniture and home furnishing accessories from his downtown Los Angeles studio.
Now based in Joshua Tree, and as principal of IBSMJ DESIGN, his high desert
design studio offers residential design, interior design and exterior design services
to clients.
Working with clients from initial concept through move-in, projects include conceptual
design for ground-up new construction, renovations, remodels, additions, swimming
pools, and custom furnishings for dozens of homes throughout Southern California.
