One of the most anticipated annual events on the international design calendar is back – and promises to set a new bar when it comes to inspiration. Building on the astounding success of its first two years, WOW!house 2024 at London’s Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour is a must-see for anyone who loves interiors, with an exciting new cohort of international designers and decoration brands coming together to show the world the best in interior design talent, all under one roof. Every corner of WOW!house will thrill, intrigue and delight the senses – with 19 rooms of wonder conjured up by legendary names, international A-listers and rising stars.

The roster of impressive talent includes a superlative collaboration between two legends: Alidad, a world-renowned talent whose eye for antiques and textiles is unparalleled; and Watts 1874, an iconic, 150-year-old, family-owned company that has never strayed from bold statements or creative independence. Fernando Wong, named one of the most important landscape designers in America by Architectural Digest, will be creating a Terrace with Summit Furniture, which he promises will be a civilised tropical oasis, while House & Garden’s Interior Designer of the Year 2023, Lucy Hammond-Giles, will be designing a Morning Room for Colefax and Fowler, a scion of Sibyl Colefax and John Fowler, the longest established interior decorating firm in the UK. The legendary Veere Grenney also promises a bedroom that will transport you to his childhood, brought to life Schumacher, a company whose impeccable collections strike all the right notes.

Immersive elements enhance the experience of walking through WOW!house and bring new layers of meaning to the designers’ rooms. Designers will choose from a variety of Diptyque scents to help tell their story. The soundscape will be equally personal, as this year the designers choose their own soundtracks.

United in Design (UID) is the chosen charity for WOW!house 2024, and the partnership with Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour will continue into 2025. UID was founded by interior designers Sophie Ashby and Alexandria Dauley with a pledge to deliver an equal opportunity pathway for entry into the interior design industry for people from black, Asian, ethnic minority and socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Its mission will be supported by the Design Centre with the creation of a specialist guide featuring outstanding designer-makers from thee backgrounds.

As the “Oscars of the design world,” WOW!house doesn’t have a red carpet. Even better – they will be showcasing a magnificent floral one, created by sponsor Jennifer Manners to welcome the stars of our industry in the exuberant style they’ve come to expect.

On 3 June, the Design Centre will host a gala evening to benefit United in Design. This spectacular opening night of fun and philanthropy will offer the first chance to step through the doors of WOW!house, and celebrate in the company of the design industry's leading lights.
