Townhouse Kitchens, a women-owned, Manhattan-based firm specializing in high-end kitchen interior design and custom-made cabinetry, is celebrating two meaningful milestones—its 11th anniversary and the relocation of its expanded showroom, in conjunction with the New York Design Centers’ WNWN (What’s New What’s Next) event.

Townhouse Kitchens is moving up—from the fourth floor to the ninth floor—of the New York Design Center. The new, larger space will feature four working kitchen vignettes where designers can not only see the beautifully installed custom cabinetry, but can experience and use the latest in Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove appliances.

To celebrate these momentous milestones, visitors are invited to attend The Art of Kitchen Design Lecture Panel during WNWN on September 19 at 3 pm in the new Townhouse Kitchens Showroom. The panel will be moderated by Jill Cohen, Editor in Chief of Luxe Interiors + Design magazine. Featured speakers include famed kitchen designer Mick Degiulio of Degiulio Design and Joy Young, Owner of Townhouse Kitchens in NYC. The lecture panel will be followed by an open house with appetizers and cocktails curated by Mick and Joy. Guests will be invited to take a recipe card of Mick and Joy’s appetizer with them.

With its 11th anniversary and the grand reopening of its showroom, Joy and her team are celebrating Townhouses’ success and what makes it unique. Townhouse is known for its partnership with the architecture and design community and its ability to accommodate aesthetics from contemporary to traditional. Its practice embraces bringing all aesthetics to life, allowing clients, designers, and architects to express style that is personal to the clients’ home. At Townhouse, love of cooking and culinary expertise informs the functionality of each project.

To support the A & D community, Townhouse supplies and installs all American-made cabinetry from Pennsylvania, with sustainability at top of mind. Construction site support services, in-home white glove delivery, and personal attention to every client, project, and detail sets Townhouse apart. Using a full circle approach, beginning-to-end services achieve complete and timely kitchen installations.
