Summer School
July 23-24
Congdon Yards
400 West English Rd.
High Point, North Carolina

Summer School is a two-day marketing training for creative professionals looking to polish their brand story and public relations strategy so they can grow their business authentically, attract the right clients, and pitch the media and potential collaborators with newfound confidence.

Offered in-person in High Point as well as virtually, classes will convene at Congdon Yards and select High Point x Design showrooms. Combining seminar, workshop, breakout and panel discussion formats, the in-person schedule affords practicing one’s pitch among peers and invaluable networking opportunities. Attendees will have access to online content for 90 days following the event.

An offshoot of Marketing School for Creatives, an on-line MBA-level course designed by Ericka Saurit, Summer School includes a cast of industry professionals alongside Saurit. Confirmed guest speakers include Dawn Brinson, founder of A New Day Creative Communications & Marketing; Ken Lewis, Director of Marketing for Johnny Davis Digital; HPxD Managing Director Jane Dagmi; interior designers Cheryl Luckett of Dwell by Cheryl; Jessica Duce of JDuce Design; Marie Cloud of Indigo Pruitt Design Studio, and home and garden influencer Ursula Carmona of Homemade by Carmona.

Summer School would not be complete without field trips. Johnny Davis Digital will host a welcome mixer in their new photo studio on Green Drive, Hooker Furnishings will welcome attendees for Day 2 of learning, followed by graduation lunch and tour at the American Leather showroom. Many HPxD showrooms are also open for business.

The cost for Summer School is $179. Registration is open up until July 22. If you want to come with your team...group discounts are available! The more the merrier!

We all know there's an overwhelming amount of samey-same brands in the world—let's make sure you're not one of them. Fall back in love with your unique brand story at Summer School.
