The highly anticipated La Petite Maison Gala is set to take over Houston this holiday season. This annual event calls on local architects, builders and designers to transform dollhouses into true designer spaces that are auctioned off to the highest bidder at a charity gala. 

This year's design talent includes: Jean Liu, Avery Cox, Courtney Barton, Jennifer Barron, Lauren Wills, Amy Kummer, Elizabeth Garrett, and Kristen Leigh. The eight enlisted designers have been working tirelessly on their miniature masterpieces for months - collaborating with design brands, artists, and makers from across the nation to bring their wildest and tiniest visions to life. Attendees of the gala are encouraged to dress in this year's theme, Après-Ski, and bid vigorously to win one of the prized dollhouses and other offerings for a good cause.

The beneficiary, Family Houston, is a community-based non-profit organization that provides economic opportunities for vulnerable communities in Houston. Family Houston employs a team of counselors, community support specialists, and coaches to strengthen families and contribute to a healthier and more stable community. The organization helps Houstonians improve their lives through programs that expand opportunities in education, career development, food security, and more.

The dollhouses will be on “tour” at exclusive locations throughout Houston for two weeks starting November 19th leading up through December 3rd, followed by the main event on December 4th at Hotel ZaZa Museum District. 

La Petite Maison Gala was founded in 2022 by Houston-based interior designer, Alexandra Killion. Killion wanted a way to leverage the talented design industry in and around Houston to benefit well deserving philanthropies in the area. In its first two years, the event raised over $300k and has since grown in size and notoriety each season. Top interior designers and entrepreneurs shrink and showcase their most creative and inspiring miniature curated spaces.
