What’s the inspiration behind the new collection?
Global Geometry is more of a moment than a collection. It’s a celebration of bold patterns and rich shapes, all inspired by the adventures of a well-traveled life. Global Geometry is a curation of 37 designs and constructions that draw references from our own personal journeys and the wonders of our planet. Our goal is to have our rugs be the catalysts for imagination.

What was the starting point for this collection?
Our team started with a deep admiration for the intricate patterns and color combinations associated with riad flooring designs. We wanted to bring the concept and the worldly charm of cement tile patterns into a space without the need for construction, so we embarked on a meticulous creative process, carefully crafting each pattern and shape to inspire a sense of wonder and curiosity. The outcome is a beautiful fusion of global cultures, a true celebration of the universal language of travel and beauty, all woven into our rugs.

What piece are you most excited to unveil?
While all of our rugs bring warmth to a space, the hand-knotted Cera has garnered significant attention and captured our hearts as the star of Global Geometry. This extraordinary rug draws inspiration from mosaic and geometric patterns commonly found in tile motifs and is currently offered in five distinct designs and colorways. Our skilled artisans in India have poured their hearts and expertise into creating the Cera series, meticulously tying 75 knots per square inch for unparalleled quality. Crafted entirely from 100 percent wool, this rug offers durability, making it well-suited for high-traffic areas in the home while ensuring its enduring beauty for years to come.

Tell us about the materials in this collection. Are there certain materials used throughout, and/or a material that is a highlight on a particular piece?
Global Geometry offers products across all construction and price points, from hand-knotted to power-loomed to PET. As the premiere maker of hand-knotted rugs, we source the finest wools to weave the most durable and naturally beautiful rugs. These quality constructions are 100 percent hand-made, with a spotlight on the use of wool for its resilience, stain-  and flame-resistance, and sustainability.

How do you envision designers using this collection?
We believe in a design philosophy that celebrates freedom and creativity. We encourage our design partners with a simple mantra: “Start with the rug.” Why? Because the rug is more than just a decor piece; it’s the foundation of a room’s character and style. There are many designs in the Global Geometry collection that can be customized. We offer custom sizes and shapes, and for some designs custom colors are also available.
