At the slightest drop of temperature or first sign of a changing leaf, an urge takes over us. Echoing the season, the tones get deeper, the layers get warmer and the candles stay lit longer. Perhaps the most decadent thing about life, if we pare it down to the simplest terms, is basking in its subtleties. For our fall editorial this year, we wanted our furnishing to feel a bit richer and moodier. We were inspired by elements of the traditional contrasted with modern flair. This capsule of traditionally patterned rugs, mixed materials and clean-lined silhouettes is where we arrived.
