Uhuru to debut August-only pop-up shop in the Hamptons

Brooklyn-based Uhuru Design is popping up in the Hamptons. The furniture brand, known for work with Kit & Ace, Vice Media and Saks Fifth Avenue, will open a shop in Amagansett from August 7 to September 7. Featured products include a range of wallpaper, furniture, lighting and accessories from companies including and a range of Brooklyn-based vendors, plus products from the brand's “Summer Snow” and “The Essentials” lines, including the snowfence line with reclaimed fencing wood and neon powder-coated metals in bright pinks and green.

UHURU Beach's temporary location

The shop, termed UHURU Beach, will also serve as a de facto cultural hub, hosting lecture series, al fresco movies and other events and spotlighting products from Brooklyn- and New York-based designers and artists. Discover the shop, while it lasts, at 11 Indian Wells Hwy, Amagansett.

The Summer Snow indoor/outdoor line features reclaimed snow fencing.
