On December 3, a private cocktail party at Cypress Tavern heralded the opening of Art Basel Miami Beach. Veranda editor in chief Clinton Smith, Roberto Coin chairman Roberto Coin and president Peter Webster, architect Carlos Aparicio, and designer Julie Hillman hosted the evening affair, which featured a presentation of elegant Roberto Coin jewelry. Among the notable guests were Barry Dixon, Carmen and Fernando Beltran, Charlotte Dunagan and Laurence Stott.
