Seventy-five attendees, among them Holiday House founder Iris Dankner, Robert Allen CEO Philip H. Kowalczyk, New York School of Interior Design president David Sprouls, and designers Drew McGukin and Julie Schuster, gathered on November 16 to celebrate the winner of the Robert Allen–sponsored NYSID student competition. Winner Cheryl Sadlowski, who was mentored by designer Ross Alexander, will install her winning design at next year’s Holiday House, with the support of Robert Allen.

Shared Kowalczyk, “We at The Robert Allen Group created something very special for our industry: a collaboration between a prestigious school of design and its talented students, a showhouse for a great cause, and our team. The result was a perfect blend of doing good on many levels while celebrating the power of creative design. It was a proud moment where we could act as a catalyst for unlocking potential and the wonder of our industry.”
