The Parrish Art Museum's yearly Midsummer Party in Water Mill on July 11 treated a 1,000-guest contingent of artists, business leaders, philanthropists and other attendees to decor inspired by Chuck Close's Anthurium and Chrysanthemum photographs. The Ron Wendt Design–created atmosphere featured acid-green tablecloths, chartreuse stems of Midori anthurium and Fuji chrysanthemum flowers in table arrangements and overhead greenery that accentuated the architecture of the party’s Mildred C. Brinn Terrace location.
