The NYC Big Flea will kick off with a cocktail party tomorrow night co-hosted by Sophie Donelson of House Beautiful and NYC Big Flea co-founder Dee Dee Sides. Up for grabs at the fair, held at Pier 94 over September 26 to 27, are furniture, fine art, silver, decorative objects and others. Among this year's host committee members are Jamie Drake, Philip Gorrivan, Tamara Mellon, Charlotte Ronson, Jared Seligman and others. “There is truly something for everyone,” says Sides of the fair's offerings.
The event is partnering with Chelsea Market, the renowned indoor food hall, and will feature five pop-up restaurants onsite. Tickets are $15 for both days, and free for kids aged 12 or under. The market also offers same-day, on-site delivery.
Premiering in its New York location last year, the Flea is the largest anqtiques flea market of its kind in the city and is a sister company of D'Amore Promotions, which has run Big Flea markets in Washington, D.C., and Fredericksburg, Virginia for over three decades.
