New York Cottages & Gardens to launch in March
By Staff

Cottages & Gardens Publications has announced a March launch date for its new New York Cottages & Gardens (NYC&G) which will cover real estate, interior design and architecture in New York City, Westchester, the Gold Coast of Long Island and the Hudson Valley.

Like its sister publications Hamptons Cottages & Gardens and Connecticut Cottages & Gardens, NYC&G will introduce a new audience to the detailed inside stories behind area real estate deals with the iconic "Deeds & Don'ts" column, the most provocative real estate column in the country.

"We will bring the same level of detail and behind-the-scenes reportage to New York that we are already known for in the Hamptons and Connecticut," said Kendell Cronstrom, Editor-in-Chief of both NYC&G and HC&G.

NYC&G will publish five issues in 2012, two in the spring and three in the fall, with the first issue debuting in March. Content will include luxury design and home decor, real estate, decorating, gardening, art and antiques. Lavish exclusive feature stories will dominate the magazine every issue, ranging from a rooftop terrace garden on an 1840's Brooklyn brownstone to a classic-six apartment on Manhattan's Upper West Side—from an ultra-modern house overlooking Long Island Sound to a pre-Revolutionary mansion in the Hudson Valley.

Real estate stories to be featured in the inaugural NYC&G issue include:

•  Nicole Kidman's New Digs

•  What the Rudins Wrought: The Latest News from New York's Biggest Real Estate Family

•  What $88 Million Will Buy You Now

•  New York Skyscrapers: On the Rise Again

"Both readers and advertisers come to the Cottages & Gardens publications for the scoop in real estate," said Marianne Howatson, CEO & Publication Director. The Deeds & Don'ts column launched the careers of top real estate writers like Lockhart Steele of Curbed and Jennifer Gould Keil of the New York Post.
