Last night, House Beautiful won its first Ellie, or National Magazine Award in NYC. Editor-in-Chief Newell Turner accepted the award for General Excellence in the Lifestyle category, which "honors city and regional publications as well as food, travel and shelter magazines" for its March, June and July/August issues.
